10 Artists to Add to Your Playlist This Pride Month
As we cross the halfway point of June, many queer artists have made moves that caught the attention of fans and the public. Between identity discoveries and genre-breaking new releases, here are 10 queer artists that need to be on your radar this Pride Month.
1. Chappell Roan
Iconically known as “your favorite artist’s favorite artist,” Chappell Roan quickly rose to fame after the release of her successful debut album The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess in 2023. Roan stole the hearts of many when her song “Good Luck Babe” gained traction on TikTok and climbed the Billboard charts, detailing the story of Roan dating a girl who refuses to acknowledge her sexuality, and wishes her good luck. The catchy, upbeat track quickly became a lesbian anthem, and Chappell’s stardom began.
Roan released the highly anticipated single “The Giver” in March, giving fans yet another lesbian anthem, one that emphasizes that queer women do it best.
